Air Mobile Personal Assistant

Don't we all wish that there was some thing that could come upon our command to get us mail or remote control or things, to keep track of our "to do's" and appointments, to filter the e-mail and so forth. We've seen it on TV, we've fantasized about it. Can amateurs (NOT Honda and Sony) built some thing like Air Mobile Personal Assistant? Hey, fantasizing is the first step towards actualization.
